Insequence implementing its MES system for two DMS production lines in Detroit, Michigan

Insequence, a provider of sequencing, manufacturing and logistics software solutions, is implementing its SPD Pro MES system for two production lines at Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS). DMS will use Insequence’s sequential parts delivery and manufacturing execution system (MES) to supply sequenced cockpits and consoles to the Ford Dearborn Truck and Kansas City assembly plants. As an existing user, these installations will bring the total number of active SPD Pro systems utilized by DMS to over ten systems.

The SPD Pro system will be used to manufacture cockpits and consoles in sequence. SPD Pro is a modular solution that is designed to accommodate any size project and will manage dozens of workstations for each production line. The workstations will utilize the software for assembly, sequencing, and shipping.

Along with providing software, Insequence will provide services to implement and test the system. Insequence provides remote and onsite installation services plus startup support for when the project goes lives. Additionally, Insequence will also provide 24 x 7 multilingual support once the onsite teams finish implementation.

Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) is a “tier-one component manufacturer” who suppliers interior trim such as cockpits, IPs door trim, center consoles and more.
