Toyota Boshoku to Utilize Insequence Software for sequencing in their Vance, Alabama Facility
SPD Pro Sequencing and Manufacturing software modules provide extensive standard functionality to run simple projects to the most complex operations.
Toyota Boshoku will begin sequencing and manufacturing Door Panels and Tailgates assemblies. They will use Insequence’s software solutions to supply these commodities to the MBUSI Assembly Plant in Vance, Alabama. Insequence will supply and perform the installation of their software that will drive the sequencing and manufacturing operations for Toyota Boshoku.
SPD Pro
Sequential Parts Delivery (SPD), or producing and shipping parts in the right sequence at the right time, is becoming an increasingly popular process. Due to its popularity, for many OEMS, it has become a new business standard. The process of sequential part delivery allows materials to arrive to an assembly plant within hours of use. This reduces inventory levels for both the supplier and the OEM.
Within the SPD Pro system exists modules that are independent but also collaborative when used together. Thus allowing the customer to utilize only what they need to fulfill their project obligations. Since Toyota Boshoku is building assemblies as well as sequencing them, the modules for sequencing will pass the broadcast data to the MES module for manufacturing. From there, the assemblies will be built in the correct order as specified by the OEM through MES. Then the assemblies will move to sequencing module for Rack Loading, Auditing, and Shipping.
