Insequence Replacing Third Party MES System with their SPD Pro MES and SCADA products in Android Industries’ Belvidere Facility
The SPD Pro MES and SCADA system, although independent modules, are complementary to each other and provide complete accessibility and control to all action on the plant floor.
Android Industries, assemblers of complex vehicle systems, has been sequencing commodities utilizing SPD Pro software in their new facility acquired from another company in April of 2014. In addition to complex assembly, Android’s team performs their manufacturing “in vehicle sequence” being sure to meet aggressive delivery windows”. At a global level, the serve as an extension to their customers by managing all material required for their projects.
Android currently receives, processes, and validates the Chrysler PFCS for their demand. Once loaded, the sequenced racks are then shipped to the Chrysler Assembly plant in Belvidere, Illinois. A third party MES system builds commodities prior to the rack loading and shipment process. Insequence will be replacing this third party software.

They will install their Manufacturing Execution System (MES) module and their Manufacturing Execution Monitoring module in Android’s Belvidere facility that will drive the manufacturing process to build sequentially.
SPD Pro Manufacturing Execution System
The very robust SPD Pro Manufacturing Execution System (MES) manages the entire build process. This includes displaying detailed directions for the operator, error proofing each step, interfacing with plant and monitoring equipment, and providing complete traceability. The system comes complete with an extensive amount of user configurable functionality, features, and options. This gives the customer options to tailor it to their project requirements.
SPD Pro Manufacturing Execution Monitor
The SPD Pro Manufacturing Execution Monitor (MEM) is Insequence’s in house designed SCADA product. This module will monitor workstation activity as well as machines. The enterprise function within MEM allows the customer to view, monitor, and control all operations taking place within multiple facilities. Alerts can be setup so as to notify supervisors when a monitored device requires attention. With this module, displays are user creating give customers the opportunity to create something specific and unique to their facility. The data presented is optional and the user decides what aspects of workstations and machinery are to be monitored.
