Insequence Expands to the European Market
Plastic Omnium to deploy Insequences SPD Pro software at their Hams Hall, North Warwickshire, United Kingdom facility.
Together with their distributors, AMBS or Bicester, Uk, Insequence will supply Plastic Omnium with the the SPD Pro software suite. This suite of modules will used to deliver parts in sequential order to the Jaguar/Land Rover Assembly Plant in Hams, Hall, North Warwickshire, United Kingdom.
With 110 plants worldwide, Plastic Omnium has been providing solutions tailored to meet the needs of community residents and road users for over 60 years. Based out of Levallois Cedex, France, their automotive division specializes in the production of cutting edge emissions-control systems and develops innovative plastic parts. This division has leveraged its expertise in thermosetting plastics to position itself as a partner to truck manufacturers. Plastic Omnium focuses on reducing emissions through multiple means. Their focus includes creating vehicles that are lighter, improving their aerodynamic qualities. Another point for them is developing emissions-control systems for diesel engines and equipment for hybrid and electric vehicles.
Since 2010, Insequence has supplied Plastic Omnium’s North American plants with their SPD Pro software and support. Due to the successful implementation of SPD Pro in their North American operations, Plastic Omnium has decided to deploy the software in the UK. The suite of SPD Pro modules will be used to sequence bumpers, tailgates, and claddings.
