Insequence Providing Magna Mirrors SPD Pro Software for Sequencing and Manufacturing

Magna Mirrors is implementing Sequential Part Delivery (SPD) Pro software system in their Spartanburg, South Carolina facility for the new BMW platform (F25/26). The software will be provided by Insequence Corporation, suppliers of proven manufacturing, inventory, and sequenced part delivery solutions.
It is becoming a basic business requirement for automotive suppliers to supply demand in sequence. Sequential Part Delivery (SPD) sequencing software allows materials to arrive at the assembly plant within hours of use. This results in reduced inventory levels for both the supplier and the OEM. Thus allowing automotive part supply and assembly businesses to compete effectively.
In addition to the multi-faceted software being implemented for sequencing, an additional Insequence SPD Pro software module is being employed for the actual build process. The many functions and capabilities of the SPD Pro MES module creates a unique system. Due to this functionality, the system allows suppliers to tailor it specifically to their requirements at any time. Coordinating and synchronizing people, processes, equipment, and assemblies, MES displays step-by-step instructions for operators at each workstation, error proofs each step, interfaces with assembly line machinery as needed, and provides complete “cradle to grave” traceability.
The SPD Pro shipping module will handle the shipping process once manufacturing and rack loading is complete. Trailer loading patterns can be set up, racks are scan verified to insure that they are loaded correctly, and the BOL will be printed.
