Fuyao Implements Insequence’s SPD Pro Sequential Part Delivery System at their Lake Orion, Michigan facility

Synergetic system software modules communicate in chronological order to increase productivity.

Insequence Corporation is providing their SPD Pro Sequential Part Delivery System to Fuyao in Lake Orion. This facility will be using the SPD Pro System for sequencing to Chrysler.

It is becoming a basic business requirement for automotive suppliers to supply demand in sequence. Sequential Part Delivery (SPD) allows materials to arrive at the assembly plant within hours of use. This results in reduced inventory levels for both the supplier and the OEM. In turn, this allows automotive part supply and assembly businesses to compete effectively.

The sequencing process begins with the Host module which supports are all demand communication between the OEM and Supplier. Fuyao is communicating with and sequencing to the Chrysler Assembly Plant located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The Host will process the demand from Chrysler. Then Load Manager will organize this information into queues for the next module. This information is then made available to the rest of the SPD Pro modules for sequencing.

The last steps in sequencing consist of verification and shipping. The shipping module racks are loaded on the truck correctly through scan verification before a BOL is printed. Fuyao will utilize the shipping module to export the BOL details to their ERP system, provided by Plex Systems, using and existing Plex/Insequence interface.
