INOAC in Bessemer, AL, Selects Insequence
Insequence, a software provider of sequencing, manufacturing and logistics solutions, is implementing its manufacturing and SCADA system at INOAC in Bessemer, AL. The company is will use Insequence’s SPD Pro manufacturing execution system (MES) and SCADA (MEM) system for supplying automotive components to Hyundai. The SCADA system will also provide complete traceability for the specific components. This is the fourth SPD Pro system installed for INOAC. In addition to software solutions, Insequence is providing onsite training and floor support.
The application module assists in manufacturing parts on-demand based on a PLC request. Insequence’s SPD Pro SCADA system monitors workstations and machines throughout the plant as well as controls and reacts to set conditions via a PLC. Integrated Data Storage can work alongside the system to provide a means to gather and store real-time data without requiring SQL databases to be offline or removed from production.
Insequence’s MES application manages the rack out process to ensure proper quantities on completed racks. The SPD Pro BOL Module manages the truck loading process for all completed racks. Additionally, this module verifies that the specified rack is in the correct position within the truck.
