Modular Automotive Systems Utilizing Insequence Software

Modular Automotive Systems (MAS) is utilizing Insequence’s Sequential Part Delivery Software (SPD Pro) in their Highland Park, MI facility. Using this system, MAS supplies front and rear fascia to the FCA Mack Avenue Assembly plant.

Insequence software solutions are designed to be versatile to best suit the needs of each individual client. For MAS,  Insequence provided a Rack Loading (MRL) station for each commodity, with an option to substitute with an MES Pack-Out procedure. The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) module manages the build process and validates the completed racks before being sent to the SPD Pro shipping module. The shipping module manages the shipping process for all completed racks.

Additionally, MAS is using the SPD Pro Inventory Management Module (IMS). Insequence’s IMS module is designed specifically for shop-floor operations. The module integrates seamlessly with other SPD Pro modules and provides up-to-the-minute information on inventory status. This includes tracking locations of scanned racks, containers, and boxes within the warehouse. In total, MAS manages their shop floor operation by utilizing three primary software modules provided by Insequence.

Modular Automotive Systems (MAS) is an automotive parts supplier based out of Michigan. They have been utilizing Insequence solutions since 2006.
