Insequence to Deploy their SPD Pro System in Brazil
Plastic Omnium will deliver commodities to Jaguar/Land Rover just-in-sequence and just-in-time.
Delivering automotive parts in sequential order to an assembly plant Just-in-Time (JIT) has long been becoming a basic business demand worldwide. Insequence will be traveling to the state of Rio De Janeiro to implement their Sequential Part Delivery (SPD) software in Plastic Omnium’s facility that will deliver parts to Jaguar/Land Rover. Insequence suppliers of industry leading Sequencing, MES, SCADA, and Inventory solutions, has provided software solutions for years in Latin America.
Plastic Omnium is a world leader in automotive components, body modules, automotive fuel systems, and waste container solutions. Since 2010, Insequence has supplied Plastic Omnium’s North America plants with their SPD Pro software and support. In 2014, Plastic Omnium won projects requiring Just-in-Sequence (JIS) deliver to automotive OEM’s in Europe. The chose SPD Pro to drive the entire process.
Plastic Omnium has selectd the powerful Insequence SPD Pro Suite once again but this time in their Itatiaia, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil facility. SPD Pro will receive broadcasts from Jaguar/Land Rover and facilitate the entire sequencing process from rack loading to shipment.
Many suppliers require the ability to back flush their inventory once parts are shipped out of their facility. Plastic Omnium will use an interface previously developed by Insequence to back flush inventory to their ERP system.
