Insequence providing sequential part delivery solution to Forma Automotive, Mexico
Insequence, a software provider of sequencing, manufacturing and logistics solutions, will implement their sequencing system for Forma Automotive in Guanajuato, Mexico. The company will use Insequence’s SPD Pro sequential parts delivery solution for supplying sequenced truck beds to Toyota, also located in Guanajuato, Mexico. This will be the second time Forma Automotive has utilized Insequence solutions.
SPD Pro is a versatile software capable of being utilized in multiple manufacturing and supplier scenarios. In this case, Forma Automotive will use SPD Pro for sequencing but not shipping as parts will be shipped from point to point within the Toyota campus. While Insequence does offer a shipping solution, in cases where it is not needed, the system’s modular capabilities allows the individual applications to function together or separately.
Additionally, as a supplier grows the SPD Pro solution can grow with it. Its unique set up allows the system to work with just one station or many stations. In fact, the Insequence SPD Pro software has never reached a maximum number of stations it can support. So long as a supplier has the hardware capabilities, SPD Pro can continue expanding.
Forma Automotive was launched in 2014 to provide Tacoma truck beds to Toyota. Five years later they also offer “outsourced manufacturing and quality solutions to companies in the United States and Mexico.”
