Hi-Lex selects Insequence’s Parts Sequencing Solution

Hi-Lex has selected Insequence’s SPD Pro Parts Sequencing software for use in their Hazel Park, Michigan facility. Hi-Lex will use this solution to provide door modules in sequence to FCA. Along with supplying their software solution, Insequence will provide system implementation, training, and onsite startup support.

Insequence has been providing software solutions to automotive suppliers for decades. While their software, SPD Pro, is designed as a standard solution equipped with the capability for vast amounts of site-specific configuration, Insequence understands each individual suppliers needs may vary.  In the case of Hi-Lex, they may need additional customization in order for SPD Pro to communicate with their ERP system.

Insequence develops and supports all of their software in-house. As this is the case,  they also provide specific customer customization. Additional customization in order to communicate with an ERP system, such as Hi-Les’s request, is not uncommon. Insequence already has experience communicating to many major ERP and WMS systems.

Hi-Lex was founded in 1946 and is not only a supplier, but innovator of “Mechanical Control Cables, Window Regulators, Door Modules and Power Closure products.” They are globally represented in the automotive market with numerous facilities worldwide. Additionally, they are one of the top market leaders in “cable applications for recreational vehicles.”
