Insequence will be implementing their Sequential Parts Delivery (SPD Pro) system at Enova Premier’s Warren, MI facility. At this location, the software will be utilized to sequence tire and wheel assemblies to two Fiat Chrysler Automotive (FCA) assembly plants; Jefferson North and Mack Avenue. This will be the tenth SPD Pro system at Enova Premier facilities.
Insequence has been providing sequential parts delivery solutions for almost 25 years. This includes completing many software installations for FCA suppliers. In fact, their first solution was actually for a Chrysler supplier (now part of FCA). Over the years as the OEMs change and suppliers are required to adapt to new requirements, Insequence has also adapted to these industry changes. This implementation is one of many that has prompted Insequence to update their FCA Host application to better serve their customers.
The Host Link application is a critical component of the Insequence SPD Pro Sequencing Module. This link establishes a connection with an OEM to receive the vehicle sequencing demand. Along with receiving the demand, the Host processes and validates it before passing this information on to the rest of the SPD Pro system. This application is one of the reasons SPD Pro is so versatile with 25 different automotive OEM Host Applications available. Combined with the fact that all software is developed in-house, Insequence ensures their customers have the flexibility they need.
