The Right Stuff For
Batch-Build Production

Now You Can Receive Demand From Multiple OEMs And Plan Out Your Batch Production.

Prior to Insequence, OEMs just did what’s still called batch-build production.  If the OEM needed a blue door, its supplier built 100 identical blue doors and shipped them on a just-in-time basis.  The OEM inventoried those doors and picked them as needed when manufacturing the full vehicle.

Then, nearly 30 years ago we ushered in the parts sequencing paradigm.

It’s how the other half lives.
But today OEMs typically still run 50/50 between sequencing and batch-build production. Which is why we’ve seen strong demand for a solution that enables suppliers to schedule their batch production. To meet that demand in 2023 we launched our Production Scheduler, which allows us to directly address the non-sequencing side of automotive manufacturing. This new offering enables suppliers to receive OEM batch broadcasts and plan out the production.

Insequence’s Production Scheduler currently supports multiple file formats in the first release with more on the way, along with additional functionality. Users can schedule production for multiple OEMs, File Formats, and Ship To locations from a single application on a single server.
