Insequence will supply sequencing and MES software to Yanfeng in Mexico for facilities in Queretaro, Qro and Derramadero, Coah. Queretaro will utilize solutions managing the building and shipping of instruments panels, in sequence, to COMPAS. Derramadero’s solutions will be for building in sequence or just shipping in sequence of door panels, floor consoles, bolsters, and instrument panels to FCA.

Yanfeng’s facility in Queretaro will use multiple applications from Insequence for sequencing and manufacturing instrument panels. The software will receive and validate the demand from COMPAS before sending production requirements to the line. The applications will then communicate with each other in a specific order to accomplish a smooth sequencing, manufacturing, and shipping process.

The facility in Derramadero will also use multiple applications from Insequence for sequencing and manufacturing multiple commodities. Commodities being manufactured or just sequenced include door panels, floor consoles, instrument panels, and bolsters. The software will receive and validate the demand from FCA before sending production requirements to the line. The applications will then communicate with each other in a specific order to accomplish a smooth process, either build-in-sequence or just-in-sequence, depending on the commodity.

Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI), is a global supplier of automotive interiors. Headquartered in Shanghai, China, the company has over 100 facilities in 20 countries and provides components to nearly all automakers. They have been working with Insequence since 2015.

Still relatively new in the automotive industry, COMPAS or “Cooperation Manufacturing Plan Aguascalientes” is a joint venture between Nissan and Daimler. The goal for this plan is the production the “…next generation of premium compact cars.”
