Insequence will supply SPD Pro for Plastic Omnium in Rosario, Argentina who will supply fascias to GM.

Delivering automotive parts in sequential order to an assembly plant Just in Time (JIT) has long been a basic business demand for automotive suppliers worldwide.  Plastic Omnium’s facility in Rosario, Argentina will deliver front and rear fascias to GM in Argentina just in time. Insequence will implement their Sequential Part Deliver (SPD) to manage the sequencing process.

Plastic Omnium is a world leader in automotive components, body modules, automotive fuel systems, and waste container solutions. Since 2010, Insequence has supplied Plastic Omnium’s North America plants with their SPD Pro software and support. In 2014 Plastic Omnium won projects requiring Just in Sequence Delivery (JIS) to Automotive OEM’s in Europe. They selected SPD Pro to drive and error proof the entire process for these projects.

Plastic Omnium has selected the powerful Insequence SPD Pro Suite once again but this time in their Rosario, Argentina facility.  Insequence, suppliers of industry leading automotive sequencing, MES, SCADA, and Inventory solutions, has provided software solutions for years in Latin America. SPD Pro will receive, verify and parse broadcasts from GM, and facilitate the entire sequencing process from Rack Loading to Shipment.
