With functionality right out of the box, our Insequence Manufacturing Execution System (MES) provides you with a reliable and flexible solution for shop-floor control. Even better, by design it’s highly adaptable so it’s easily tailored to your individual operations with the ability to adjust processes as needed.

Insequence’s MES software manages your entire build process from start to finish, no matter how complex the assembly. To aid the operator during production, our system displays step-by-step directions, often accompanied with images. Additionally, the software comes with error-proofing for every defined action. Our MES software also interfaces with computerized systems such as automatic data collection and computerized machinery, and provides robust production and labor reporting.

MES Build Options Include:


Build-in-Batch:
Build variable size batches defined by the user.


Build-in-Sequence:
Drives data received in a broadcast or ILVS file directly into production for true build-in-sequence manufacturing.


Build-to-Order:
Often referred to as Feature Based Order Management, this mode allows true build-in-sequence operations in environments where no finished assembly item number exists. There is no need for bills of materials.


Build-to-Replenish:
Collects broadcast data into batches of similar parts for future sequencing and shipping.


Build-to-Stock:
Build inventory and safety stock.

MES SOFTWARE FEATURES

Control and record each step of the manufacturing process for complete “cradle-to-grave” traceability.
Organize the entire manufacturing process into individual step-by-step instructions to verify operator accuracy.

Our MES solution allows control of conveyor equipment, dock stripping equipment, overhead gantry cranes for automated retrieval, along with driving automated storage and retrieval systems and feeding 3rd party identification systems.

Assign a unique tracking number to every module built.
Requires operators to log in/out for traceability purposes, ensuring only trained operators work in critical operations.
Allows for model changes to the assembly line prior to implementations.
Allows production to be assigned dynamically to more than one assembly line.
Provides a mechanism to create multiple manufacturing methodologies and to activate them on demand. Included is the ability to define routing steps and bills of materials.
Automatically applies labels with no operator interaction required.
Directly drives I/O to control PLC activity, pick-to-light activity, and torque controller information.
Track and alert operators when a lot has been depleted.

Need production reports?

We’ve got you covered.  Our MES software comes with dozens of standard reports to help you easily access key information.  A few examples of these reports include part-birth history, serial scan data, MES queue, and torque detail.  And, our solutions utilize SQL, so many of our customers choose to create their own custom reports as well.
